Final Message
Jan. 24th, 2020 12:34 amMy fellow companions,
I trust that should harm befall me during my time you, you shall not let me down. While my methods may have seemed rather informal, I hope that I was able to inject some fire into your will. Be good to one another, and don't loose heart. While I hope that my writing this is just a unnecessary precaution, my instincts have always been rather good. I will continue with only the best wishes for you all.
Sincerely, Olivert Reise Arnor
Prince of Erebonia
[With it of course is another letter-- this one for a particular individual. If anyone might think of Olivert preparing ahead for such an occasion it would be him.]
My Dearest Rean,
If you're reading this little love note of mine, then it would seem that I have caused you even more trouble. I apologize for leaving you like this-- while it was never my intention, I was always aware that the possibility lurked. As such, I felt a need to be prepared, should the time come.
You, perhaps more than anyone, know what it is that I sought to achieve-- not only as your country's prince-- but as an individual as well. Over that time I have asked a great deal of you. And you have never once disappointed me. It is no exaggeration to say that Class VII is what I consider to be one of my greatest accomplishments, and I am very proud of what you all have accomplished. Please do what you can to assist these people, but do not forget to take care of yourself.
I have one last unreasonable request to ask of you. When you leave this place-- and I can only pray to Aidios now that you do-- please look after Alfin and Cedric for me, would you? They both admire you a great deal and I know that your support would mean the world to them. Both of them are facing a great deal of pressure on many fronts. They will need someone at their side whom they can trust. And I can think of no better person for the task. Do what you can for Erebonia, large a task as it may seem. Then again, you've never been alone, so no need to carry it all by yourself either.
While I could go on and on, you already know the rest. No need to drag it out any further. Nonetheless, thank you for everything Rean Schwarzer. I will miss these simple times we had together, all things considered.
Sincerely yours,
Olivert
